Microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy are both exceptional ways to smooth and tighten the skin for a brighter, more youthful looking complexion.  Scarlet SRF combines microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) in one versatile device, with three treatment modes for the scalp, face, and body.  It is FDA-approved to safely treat most skin types, and since it requires only minimal downtime, patients need not sacrifice their schedules for skin rejuvenation.

WHAT IS SCARLET SRF?

Scarlet SRF distributes radiofrequency (RF) energy through numerous microneedles, creating focused independent electrocoagulation of soft tissue, which generates the creation of dermal collagen and elastin fiber in the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin.  Collagen regeneration results in facial skin tightening and lifting, scalp skin tightening, and improvement of scars, pores, and photoaging.

WHAT DOES SCARLET SRF TREAT?

Scarlet SRF diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of enlarged pores and texture changes, including traumatic and acne scarring, and stretch marks.  It also treats neck and jawline laxity.  Skin becomes increasingly smooth, firm, and luminous with each treatment.  For the healthiest of glows, our providers recommend enhancing your procedure with a skincare regimen designed specifically to address your concerns.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM SCARLET SRF?

Most patients find this procedure to be tolerable, as the application of a topical anesthetic 60 minutes prior to treatment minimizes discomfort.  Depending on the size of the treatment area, the procedure takes approximately 40 to 90 minutes, but the sensation of moderate prickly heat can be tempered with the use of a Zimmer or the Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide System.

Following a Scarlet SRF treatment, the skin typically appears mildly to moderately red for anywhere from a few hours to one or two days.

Depending on the condition of the skin and the desired results, our providers recommend a series of at least three treatments spaced four weeks apart, with a maintenance treatment every four to six months.  Results will continue to improve over time as collagen production increases.
