I have dark circles under my eyes that make me look so tired all the time. I usually use a concealer and that helps. Well, my sister has the same problem, but she recently got filler put in the dark circles, and she looks so much better now. Is this a good treatment?

Dark circles under the eyes are one of the most frequent concerns that our patients tell us about. It can run in the family and appear at a young age, and it only gets worse as time goes by. In most cases the dark circles are mostly due to hollowing rather than skin discoloration, so for most people filler is very helpful in achieving a noticeably fresher and more rested appearance.

There are a range of filler products that we use, including the much-anticipated Teoxane RHA family of fillers, which arrived in the US just recently. These fillers are FDA-approved and have been a patient and physician favorite in Canada and Europe for years. Dr. Comstock participated in the US launch of the RHA fillers, and Skin Spectrum patients were the first in Tucson to have access to these new products.
