I’m 27 years old, and I swear I’m starting to see some little wrinkles around my eyes.  I feel like I’m too young for this!  Is this unusual?  Should I be using eye cream and wrinkle creams at my age?

Although you are young, skin aging changes routinely appear in our twenties and early thirties, and this is especially true if you grew up here in Arizona with our intense sun. Benjamin Franklin could have been thinking about beautiful skin when he said, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”!  We are ardent believers in prejuvenation–preventing or slowing down aging changes in the skin so that you can enjoy healthy and naturally beautiful skin even as you age.  If you prejuvenate in your youth, then you can avoid the need to rejuvenate later.

A typical prejuvenation program at your age might consist of sun protection, retinol and antioxidant creams, a mild laser treatment such as the Clear + Brilliant, and a little bit of neuromodulator such as Botox or Jeuveau.  It’s a great opportunity for 20 and 30-year-olds that was not available years ago.
